St. Thomas's Quarter
St. Thomas's Quarter is a span of mixed woodland and former heathland on the west edge of the Forest, characterised by large oaks and beech pollards pleasantly woven with streams and dotted with occasional bogs.
It is a great location from which to begin your exploration of the Epping Forest Buffer Lands starting at adjoining Woodredon Park.
