Batty about Epping Forest - Bat walk and talk

Join bat experts from our education partners at the Field Studies Centre in Epping Forest, to learn more about the fascinating bats that can be found in the Forest, and then head out with bat detectors around the grounds of Queen Elizabeth’s Hunting Lodge, Barn Hoppitt and Warren Pond at dusk to look for autumnal bat activity (weather dependent!) Return to the Epping Forest Visitor Centre for a drink and a biscuit, with an opportunity to discuss what you have seen or heard on your adventure in the woodland!

Halloween fancy dress is optional and please dress appropriately for the weather. Wellington boots are recommended.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Cost: £10 per child and one accompanying adult.
