Festive Forest - Wreath-making workshop
Come along and make yourself a fabulous festive wreath.
Our floristry expert Karen Davies-James will be on hand to guide you through the process of creating your own Epping Forest-themed* wreath, using seasonal foliage and plenty of festive flair!
Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or a complete beginner, this workshop is suitable for all skill levels.
During the session we’ll take a short break and wander across to the atmospheric Queen Elizabeth’s Hunting Lodge to enjoy some seasonal refreshments, including a glass of fizz.
The ticket price includes a blue fir wreath base with moss backing and a selection of seasonal foliage and festive adornments for you to choose from (however feel free to bring along any other personal decorations you may wish to include). Floristry tools will be available to use but please feel free to bring along your own scissors, snips etc.
Karen Davies-James trained in Floristry at Capel Manor College Enfield, achieving the Higher Diploma in Floristry. Karen is Vice Chair of Woodford and District Floral Arrangement Group who meet in Wanstead and is keen to share her ideas and show others how to make lovely flowers for the home.
*Please note that any foliage from Epping Forest has been provided by our conservation team, as a by-product of habitat management work undertaken. It is against the byelaws to collect foliage from Epping Forest.
