Saturday 4 October | Artizan Street Library and Community Centre

Several times throughout the year, the Recycling Team run Give and Take Days at different locations across the City. Have items in a reusable condition you no longer need? Looking for something new-to-you? This is your chance to declutter sustainably while helping to reduce waste and support your local community.

How it works:

The day is spilt into two parts - the 'Give' where you can come and donate your unwanted items. There is no limit to the number of items we will accept. These items will be sorted and displayed ready for the 'Take' part of the day which will happen later, where you are welcome to select items you'd like to bring home with you. There is no limit on the number of items you can take home, but we ask that people take only what they need so that others in the community get a chance to participate.

Give | 10am-12pm

Donate your pre-loved items in a good, reusable condition, including:

  • Clothes and shoes
  • Toys
  • Kitchenware
  • Bric-a-brac
  • Books
  • DVDs
  • Electrical items

We can't accept donations after 12pm, so please arrive between 10am-12pm to donate your items. You will only be able to 'Give' during these hours, and not 'Take' anything home with you just yet.

Take | 1-3pm

We open the doors for you to explore the day's goods and find something you love for free!

1-2pm: Open to City of London residents (proof of residency required)
2-3pm: Open to everyone

Join us on 4 October and be part of the reuse revolution!
