A new free display celebrating 130 years of Tower Bridge

To celebrate Tower Bridge's birthday, join London Metropolitan Archives at the City of London’s Heritage Gallery to journey through 130 years of history.

Since it’s Royal opening on 30 June 1894, Tower Bridge has been an enduring symbol of London all around the world. In this mini exhibition, dive into the story of Tower Bridge. From its humble beginnings in the imagination of City Architect Sir Horace Jones, all the way to becoming one of London’s most visited heritage attractions.
