Join Shoe Lane Library to discuss the mysterious death of Amy Dudley (nee Robsart), first wife of Robert Dudley who was reportedly found dead at the bottom of the stairs – one of the greatest unsolved deaths of the Tudor period. We will examine the existing evidence, the key people and possible motives for her death as well as what happened to his second wife, Lettice Knollys, who coincidentally was also married to Dudley for ten years.
