Let's Dance!

Let’s Dance is a national campaign to inspire everyone in the UK to embrace dance as a way to improve their health, connect with others, and have fun.

Founded by Angela Rippon CBE, the campaign is supported by leading organisations including the Sport and Recreation Alliance, NHS, and Parkinson’s UK.

Our mission is to get more people dancing together, regardless of age, fitness level, or experience.

Have Your Say on the Future of Golden Lane Leisure Centre

The City Corporation is committed to creating spaces that enhance the quality of life for our residents and the community. As part of this commitment, we are planning a £10m refurbishment of the Golden Lane Leisure Centre, and your input is vital to shaping its future.

We are inviting you to participate in an engagement survey to share your thoughts, ideas, and feedback on the proposed project. The survey will open on Thursday 20 February 2025, and will remain available for four weeks, closing on Thursday 20 March 2025.

Your voice matters, and this is a valuable opportunity to help us ensure the renovation meets the needs and expectations of our community. Whether you are a resident worker or student in the Square Mile, your insights will contribute to shaping a space that benefits everyone.

Golden Lane Sport and Fitness is now open

An online book and pay system is in use to ensure that contact points are minimised and track and trace is streamlined. Gym users will be asked to arrive ready to work out, and swimmers with their costumes under their clothes, ready to go. These measures, combined with meticulous cleaning routines, are designed to keep customers safe and offer complete confidence to use the facilities when they return to the centre.
