Reminiscence is beneficial for those at various stages of memory loss and individuals with communication difficulties. It can also be a great social, creative and learning tool for all ages.

Our Memory Boxes have been carefully put together to include a variety of multi-sensory items intended to trigger memories and help guide conversations about the past. Themes include:

• The 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s

• Entertainment
• Pastimes and Home
• Travel and Holidays

The contents of each themed box are packed into a sturdy suitcase which is easy to carry whilst protecting the items against damage.

Memory Boxes can be collected for free from our lending Libraries and can be borrowed for three weeks and renewed twice.
