Pre-licensing application advice

In order to reduce the number of representations, and the cost for all parties in having to attend a hearing, applicants are strongly urged to attend a pre-application meeting, or otherwise engage by email, with officers of the City of London Corporation prior to submitting their application.

This will give the applicant the opportunity to discuss any issues with the licensing officers and if necessary, the police, environmental health and other responsible authorities. Officers will discuss all aspects of the application and potential amendments to the application to ensure compliance with both legislation and the City Corporation Licensing Policy.

There is currently no charge for using this service.
