What does Adult Social Care Reform mean for residents?

The reform will mean that there are changes to Adult Social Care that will help us provide greater choice for those receiving care, opportunity for those providing it and certainty over costs.

Residents will have:

  • The choice to request the local authority to broker your care and for you to take advantage of the local authority care rates.
  • Assurance that the social care services in your area is high quality and delivering towards the Care Quality Commission (CQC) framework.
  • Access to a healthy care market in your area with quality care homes and residential care should you need the support. Please note, there are no residential/nursing homes within the City of London.
