Reporting a missed waste collection 

If you need to report a missed collection for your general waste, recycling or food waste recycling, please get in touch with the Contact Centre on 020 7606 3110 or log the missed collection online via the Online Service Enquiry Form. Please put “missed collection” as the enquiry.

Recycling and general waste are collected Monday to Saturday.
Food waste recycling is collected Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Please note that there are no collections on Sundays or Bank Holidays. 

Please make sure that your waste and recycling is placed in the correct location and in the correct bins or bags. If you have on-street collections, please be aware that there are bagged waste restrictions in place meaning you should only place your City of London bags on the street, outside your property, for collection between 6 - 8pm Monday to Saturday.
