Date updated: 2/11/2023

Batteries and low energy light bulbs recycling service

City of London residents can recycle their household batteries and low energy light bulbs at various recycling points across the City.

Batteries and low energy light bulbs both contain small amounts of toxic heavy metals, including mercury, which when disposed of as household waste can release harmful pollutants into the environment.
