Use the Salvation Army textile reuse points across the City.
What can I recycle?
- Clothing and underwear
- Bed linens (not duvets or pillows)
- Blankets, towels and curtains
- Handbags, belts and shoes (tied in pairs)
Items should be put in a bag before being put in the textile bin.
Clothes can be donated at Give and Take Days that are held throughout the year. Head to the Recycling Events page to find out when the next Give and Take Day is.

The Salvation Army use donated items to support its welfare projects in the UK and abroad. It sells the high quality items in its shops or exports them for resale or for humanitarian projects. Other items can be recycled to make mattress stuffing, industrial wipers or car sound proofing.
