Getting to Coulsdon Common
Coulsdon Common is not best accessed by train as there are no nearby railway stations, however the London Bus 466 runs from East Croydon, Purley and Reedham railway stations and stops adjacent to the site.
The london Bus 466 runs from Croydon towards Caterham on the Hill and stops adjacent to Coulsdon Common with frequent buses running daily.
Coulsdon Common is close to junction 7 of the M25. There is a small car park opposite the Fox pub on Fox Lane with limited spaces. The car park at neighbouring Happy Valley managed by Croydon Council, offers more parking spaces. Please check opening and closing times for this site.
On-street parking is also available along Hayes Lane opposite Kenley Common using the marked bays. From here, you can access the northern section of Coulsdon Common.

Contact Merlewood Estate Office
The Office is situated on the edge of Coulsdon Common in Caterham on the Hill and is the central hub for both the Coulsdon and West Wickham Commons staff. Here you will find a small information point where you can speak to a member of staff, pick up maps, visitor guides and other publications about each of the commons.
Opening times: Monday to Friday 9am to 4.30pm.
