Join library assistant Nadine Licence at Shoe Lane Library to hear about a famous Londoner of the late Victorian years who you’ve probably never heard of, William John Harris, the Sausage King.

His astute business sense coupled with his eccentricities saw his sausage manufacturing business spread across London and beyond from his base near Smithfield Market. Nadine will delve into his businesses and personal life, including his unique approach to naming his children.
