This is an exciting jewellery making course for you to learn how to design and create your unique jewellery. No need for previous experience, you will be shown how to plan, design and make your own jewellery pieces such as rings, pendants, chains or bangles using various techniques and materials such as silver, copper and gemstones.

A Sewing Course with an emphasis on Individual Projects. You will be guided by your tutor to select a project which will develop your existing skills and explore new challenges. Built into these projects are sewing techniques, measuring, understanding commercial patterns, using a sewing machine to make seams, hems, buttonholes and put in zips. By the end of the course, learners should be able to work independently on an individual project.

Explore textiles and surface decoration through individual projects, including soft furnishing, clothes making and accessories. Built into these projects are sewing techniques to make seams, hems, zips and buttonholes. By the end of the course, you should be able to work independently on an individual project.

To be eligible for funding on our free courses you should be a UK national or an EEA national with pre-settled or settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme and have been resident in the UK/EEA for the past three years. To be eligible for concessionary rates, you need to meet the aforementioned criteria and be 60 years of age or over, or be in receipt of Universal Credit Proof may be required, more information about this is on the enrolment form.
