Healthy Streets Plans

The City of London Corporation is making Healthy Streets plans for different areas in the Square Mile.

In these plans, we look at area-wide improvements as well as improvements to individual streets. We consult the public and local organisations and businesses at an early stage, before adopting the plans. We then refine any design proposals, and seek funding to implement them.

The Healthy Streets approach puts human health and experience at the heart of planning and managing streets. These plans set out how we could implement the approach in different places.

The Healthy Streets Approach has been adopted by Transport for London as part of the Mayor’s Transport Strategy, and the City Corporation's Transport Strategy.
